Do we Inspire you?

Found via Hostess with the Mostess via Pinterest
What do pink foggy drinks have to do with this post.

Not much. But they sure look cool!

Anyway, I feel so honored when a planner, friend, stationer, designer, says they their client found something on our blog and were so inspired by that they they want to do {fill in the blank}.

So, when I saw this from Events North. I was just so honored.

We at The Awesometastic Blog, love Events North, and the fact that they find us inspiring, is well, inspiring!

Here's toasting to you, and hoping you find some inspiration from our little bloggity blog!

Cheers!

Really Cool Wedding Idea

We are always on the look out for super cool ideas! New, super cool ideas are even funner!

So, when this blog came across my desk, I just had to let you know. It's rare these days that something new and exciting crosses our desks.... so I just had to share!

Check out I Love Pezzulli, but first let me tell what what it is.

Okay, so picture this, you were invited to Anna's wedding and you are going to know, NO ONE, that's awkward right?

But Anna solved that - she has created a blog that features each one of her wedding guests, creates a blog post about them, how she met them, some fun facts, and why that person is special to her and her fiancĂ©.

This way, no one is a stranger! I love it!

So friends, meet Anna and Vince, and meet Anna and Vince's friend's.

Summer Blogosphere Series Part 9

Part 9 of our Blogosphere Series brings us to Snippet & Ink! They shared these awesomesauce letterpress notecards from Tallu-lah for asking your maids of honor/ring bearers/groomsmen/other significant peoples to be in your wedding! They are quite darling!

We had a bride who used something like this and I just thought they were so sweet!

The people you ask to be in your wedding would be thrilled to receive something like this! I know I would love it, I'd probably cry being the sap that I am.

How did you ask your bridal party to be apart of your big day?

You can check out Etsy to or Tallu-lah for more of these lovely notecards!

Blogosphere Series Part 7

For part 7, we have to give props again to Every Last Detail! They are just the awesomest!

They have done a couple of posts recently on going outside of the box on bridesmaids dresses and mismatching the dresses instead of doing everybody in the same dress. It is such a bold and fantastic idea! We LOVE it!

All of the bridesmaids dresses are from Anthropologie (my new favorite store) and the wedding dress is from J. Crew.

Who says bridesmaids dresses have to be the same? Try out this trend and tell us about it!

A Classy Carnival

The most adorable Carnival-themed engagement party was featured on Green Wedding Shoes earlier this week.  How much fun would this be for your family and friends!  Find a fun carnival font for your invites, hang a few streamers, set up a game of cornhole, and plop down a bucket of peanuts...

The best part? No creepy clowns in sight.

There's a ton more on Rachel's Blog!

Hindsight on Wedding Plans

I read this post a while ago, and it made me think... if you were planning your wedding now, what do you wish you would know now, that you'll learn later. And since she wrote it a month or so ago, and I am still thinking about it. - well it's prolly worth it for you to check it out.

This was a great post written by Lauren Grove, of The Design Grove, if you haven't been to her blog, definately add it to your Google Reader.

What do you wish you knew then, that you know now?
