Moroccan Wedding

Love this, found at Wedding Illustrated
One of my favorite brides, Kaycee, loved Ranunculus (she called them the swirly flowers) as much as I do, and I saw this, and totally thought of her!

How fun is this Moroccan wedding, with bold colors, and super gorg details! I love how the fruit and flowers create such a statement, and look so fun and elegant at the same time.

Milk Glass Florals

Hi, My Name is Melissa and I have an obsession (slightly unhealthy) with Milk Glass.

I am pretty sure that given the opportunity, I'd hoard.

I think this is an affordable and gorgeous way to have faux Milk Glass for centerpieces (by spray painting random jars with a white matte finish paint on the outside)

It absolutely makes the bloom's color pop!

What do you think? A winner?

Pearl Wrislet Corsage

Source for Awesometastic Idea
About a year ago we did a wedding where the florist created these gorgeous wrist corsages and used pearl braclets instead of elastic. I thought it was genius...

Is it just me or do you just love this idea too?

Family on your Bouquet

Photography By: Morgan Matters Photography
We are always looking for beautiful ways to incorporate your family (either those no longer with us, or your entire family) into your wedding, and I love this idea of carrying small photographs tied into your bouquet!

Just so sweet, and really something that can be passed on to your family for future weddings.I saw this on MasterPiece Weddings Blog, a few weeks ago, and I knew I just had to share it.

Did you do something awesometastic to tie in your families wedding in yours?

Make an Entrance

Source
Outdoor weddings can have some drawn out walks since the holding area may be far away from the alter, but making a special doorway for the wedding party's entrance or even just the brides entrance makes for a super cool addition to outdoor wedding decor!

And you could use it for a photobooth frame during your reception, we sort of love this idea.

Who wants to build me one of these?

Chevron Cake

Source
This cake is so elegant and fun, we love the soft delicate florals and the Chevron pattern. You could totally use this for any kind of chic and awesometastic gathering.

And the chevron pattern is HUGE right now, we prefer it on cakes rather than sweaters.

Agree?

Wedding cake with Initials

Source
The initials of the bride and groom completely tie together this cake and balance the flowers with a little bit of metallic edge.

Love the fleur de lis at the bottom of the cake!

Do you think the letters would look better as gold or silver instead of bronze? Of or maybe wood? I feel like this could used so may ways, and not on top is a great change up from the norm!

Like? Love? You tell me!

Party Ideas: Buffet

We were trying to think of a fun, modern, and gardeny way to jazz up a table at an outdoor rehearsal dinner or brunch, and found this!

What a cool way to brighten up a party buffet table instead of using a tablecloth! Simple and fresh, can't go wrong with that kind of decor.

What type of flowers would you use in this display?

Love it? Hate it? We want to know!

Southern Flair: Mason Jars

We love Mason Jars! We love them hanging, standing, and filled with jam! (and who has two thumbs and loves jam... this girl!)

It's no secret that Mason jars are the biggest wedding trend right now, but they can be used in so many different and pretty ways, who cares if it's trendy?

This is a seriously, fabulous find! I love the light, the tone on tone, the romance, the rose petals, it just screams, GET MARRIED UNDER ME!

Am I right?

What is your current obsession?

Outdoor Inspired Centerpieces

Flowers are one of my favorite parts of weddings, they are just so absolutely gorgeous! Some of the centerpieces that people display at their tables are so amazing-sometimes it's hard not to grab them and run!

These nature-inspired centerpieces we found on Better Home & Gardens that were too gorgeous not to share!

Can you believe these are vegetables?!?

What a great idea for something as simple as a brown paper bag! This beats the lunch I used to put in mine!
What do you guys think about these arrangements?

Baby's Breath Bouquet

Sometimes the best things in life are those that are a bit underrated. For example-baby's breath flowers oftentimes make a floral arrangement, but rarely get acknowledged. In this case Intimate Weddings showed us that these tiny flowers can be the centerpiece, and are they gorgeous or what?

This gorgeous series of bouquets would be so perfect for any Winter Wonderland ceremony or even a delicate, chic wedding!

How perfect would these be for a rustic or outdoor themed ceremony?!?

Holiday Lanterns

As it is officially December, it is officially the holiday season and one of my favorite times of the year!

The holidays mean cold weather, cute boots, and lots of hot chocolate (with the little marshmallows, of course!)

If you plan on having your wedding during this joyful time of year, there are some great ways to incorporate some holiday staples into your ceremony!

These centerpieces we found at Pottery Barn are a gorgeous addition for any reception table or to add into your engagement party!

These lanterns can be used in so many different ways and add such a rustic touch!

How would you incorporate these?
