Pearl Wrislet Corsage

Source for Awesometastic Idea
About a year ago we did a wedding where the florist created these gorgeous wrist corsages and used pearl braclets instead of elastic. I thought it was genius...

Is it just me or do you just love this idea too?

Make an Entrance

Source
Outdoor weddings can have some drawn out walks since the holding area may be far away from the alter, but making a special doorway for the wedding party's entrance or even just the brides entrance makes for a super cool addition to outdoor wedding decor!

And you could use it for a photobooth frame during your reception, we sort of love this idea.

Who wants to build me one of these?

Prescription for Love

Source

Give your guests the Rx for love with cute candy pill bottles that also help direct them to their seat. This is really too cute, too bad we're not pharmacists!

But, we could point you in the direction for a stress less wedding!

Sunflower Pom Poms

Source
We love this idea of using flower poms poms rather than tissue paper or lanterns to decorate the overhead space. Don't get us wrong, we love lanterns, but you can't help but smile with big bursts of sunflowers everywhere you look!

You could really use any type of flower, daisies, roses, anything, right?

Silhouette Cake Toppers

Source
It is no suprise that we LOVE silhouettes, and cake toppers silhousettes are so romantical and fun! With a slight bit of mysterious'ness mixed in.

Love how the silhouettes take center stage on the simplistic all-white cakes.

Wedding Theme: Medical

This theme might seem a little weird on paper, but just go with us here and look at how cute this couple made a medical wedding theme look!

When the bride and groom are both medical doctors, but they combined their Indian and Western cultures to make one uber colorful and unique wedding that looks unforgettable!

We think they hit the nail on head!

How stinkin' adorable are these -- Love the names for all the items at their candy bar!

Icy Beverage Display

Source

A boat-load of drinks will keep all your guests well hydrated throughout the entire party, plus how cool does this display look for an outdoor cookout?

One of my favorite Destination Wedding Planners found this boat for one of her clients Rehearsal Dinner and I am in loooovvvve with it! What a great way to display your drinks have a fantastical conversation piece.

I am pretty sure you won't have to refill it a gazillion times!

Garden Party

This garden party is full of rustic charm! I love the idea of using the drawers for wine holders and all the rich and vibrant colors.

Nothing frooffy, just perfect for the hot summer and cold glass of champagne.

Tissue Paper Lanterns

Being a wedding planner in Florida, I am big on tents at outdoor weddings (seeing as our Florida weather is always so uncooperative). I always love finding ways to add a pop of color or glamorous decorations to make sure the wedding is festive both inside and out.

These paper lanterns from Martha Stewart are so simple and would add such pop to any reception hall or reception tent!

Not only are they so perfect to add to your wedding day decor, they are SO simple to make and you can make them in any color to fit your event! AND it would be a great project to do with friends, over your favorite cocktails and chocolate!

You'll need: 1) Tape
                    2) Paper Lanterns
                    3) Paper Circles (can be found at HyGloss Products)

Step 1: Starting at the bottom of the lantern, use small squares of tape to begin attaching tissue-paper disks around the hole, overlapping them.

Step 2: Working toward the top, continue sticking and overlapping disks to cover the lantern.

And you're done! How great is this project?!?

Mailbox Card Holder

So yes, there are a lot of perks about your wedding day. Marrying the one you love, spending time with your closest friends and family, and let's not lie, the gifts aren't such a bad touch either. A designated card and gift table is a must, and in the midst of all the craziness it would be a shame for anything to get lost!

This mailbox we found on Martha Stewart Weddings is a gorgeous and fun idea for guests to put their cards in and make sure nothing gets misplaced!

So cute! And I mean, who doesn't love getting mail?!?

Words of Wisdom Table Settings

Going through life, it seems like everyone has their own advice to give on everything: dating, dieting, sports, etc....

But now that you're getting married and starting the next chapter in your life, wouldn't it be nice to finally get some advice you may be able to use?

These table settings we saw on Style Me Pretty are a great way to provide guests with an ice breaker at the tables (you know they'll all be sharing the stories from where they're great advice came from) and gives you the opportunity to gain some useful words of wisdom.

You can give each book a different topic and get all the advice you could ever need!

The best part? If you don't like it, you get to tear the page out!

Hot Chocolate Bar

Brrr....there's a chill in the air that just has to remind you it's Winter. I know whenever I get super cold there's nothing like a fireplace, a blanket to snuggle with on the couch, and a warm glass of hot chocolate to make everything right again!

Winter weddings can be chilly so why not warm your guests up with this fantastical hot chocolate bar featured on Martha Stewart Weddings?!?

Marshmallows, cinnamon, peppermint, oh my! There's no end to the things you can add to your hot chocolate bar!

Doesn't this just make you all warm and fuzzy inside??

Sparklers for your wedding

New Years was a week or so ago, but don't put away those sparklers just yet!

There is a use for them besides just celebrating the arrival of the new year! Incorporating sparklers into weddings is something we just love!

And they make for some seriously fun pictures!

Baby's Breath Bouquet

Sometimes the best things in life are those that are a bit underrated. For example-baby's breath flowers oftentimes make a floral arrangement, but rarely get acknowledged. In this case Intimate Weddings showed us that these tiny flowers can be the centerpiece, and are they gorgeous or what?

This gorgeous series of bouquets would be so perfect for any Winter Wonderland ceremony or even a delicate, chic wedding!

How perfect would these be for a rustic or outdoor themed ceremony?!?

DIY Snowflakes

Sticking with the snowflake theme, there is one more DIY project that I thought was so awesome!

Remember back to when you were a kid and you played with those giant craft sticks? Well they're back!

These painted craft stick snowflakes we found on the Crafty Nest would give any home or event that rustic/old north winter feeling!

Check out the Crafty Nest for more detailed instructions and more snowflake designs! What do you think??

Snowflake Garland

What is one thing people always think of when they think of Christmas? White. A storybook white Christmas, waking up to falling snow on Christmas morning, the sparkle of sunlight on the dangling icicles...ahh it must be nice to live up north at a time like that. Minus the below freezing temperatures, of course.

Snowflakes are integral part of the Christmas season and they can be an integral part of your Winter Wonderland wedding too or the windows on your house! This DIY snowflake garland from Intimate Weddings is the perfect touch of winter for your wonderland!

How awesometastic is this Anthropologie storefront window decorated with streams of snowflake garland?? " It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

Unique Fall Wedding Decor

October has always been one of my absolute favorite times of the year. Crisp air, fall colors, Halloween decorating, cute scarves, pumpkin spice lattes...what's not to love?!

One of my very very favorite things to do, however, is Pumpkin Carving! So many options and fun designs to utilize- even as decor for your wedding!

I'm not talking about our friend the Jack O' Lantern (although if you're going for a spooky theme, then awesome! Go for it!), I'm referring to this beautiful doily stenciled pumpkin I stumbled across on Better Homes and Gardens.

via BHG

Isn't that just BOO-ti-ful (I couldn't help myself)? It may look like something only a Pumpkin-pro could produce, but you can learn how to create this masterpiece right here!

Make sure to save us some roasted pumpkin seeds when you're finished- YUM!

What do you think?

Would you consider some carved pumpkin decor at your wedding?
