Proper Way to Set a Table

Found at Danielle MJ's Tumblr Page
There is always a thought, at least in the back of my mind... how much stuff should be on the table. Especially when thinking about your wedding, are you putting your favors on the table? Table numbers? Place Cards? How many glasses? Pre-set Water Glasses? Pre-Set Salad plates? Chargers?

Yikes!

This should help give you a better idea of just how much stuff you should consider before thinking about adding more... er, stuff.

Candy Escort Cards

Valentine's Day brings a few things to look forward to-aside from spending the day with the one you love, of course. There's the glitter, the flowers, the balloons, and most deliciously, the candy! There's candy everywhere! Which of course, is why I found these candy inspired escort cards from Martha Stewart to be especially perfect given the upcoming occasion.

You can use these at your rehearsal dinner or engagement party, or even a romancial dinner party!

When thinking about the work,Wedding, we think love, and love is spelled L-O-V-E....so why not spell out that out in your place cards too??

We think these would work great for Engagement Parties, Bridal Luncheon's and even Rehearsal Dinners.

Christmas Star Escort Cards

One of my favorite parts about the holidays is the tree-I mean, it's a Christmas staple. You have to love the smell, the decorating, and of course, watching the kids unwrapping all the presents that go around it.

Oh the memories... This may be why I fell in love with these Christmas tree star escort cards we saw on Better Home & Gardens.  In fact, I may steal this idea for our Seven Fishes Feast this year!

Fun Place Cards

Creating place cards for your reception can be super fun, so we found a wonderfully creative and budget-friendly DIY idea at Green Wedding Shoes, we were ecstatic!

The wedding was a Beatles theme, so the bride and groom took old Cassette Tapes and wrote the guests name, along with a Beatles Tune on them.

Via Green Wedding Shoes
The couple used Beatles albums in lieu of table numbers, so the guests then got to test their Beatles knowledge and find the album that "their song" was a part of in order to find their seat! So fun!

This is a really cute and clever way to do wedding placecards and you could use whichever artist you preferred.

Have you heard of any creative place card ideas?
