I was doing some research on monograms for a wedding that I went to (as a guest!!!- that never happens) and I found this gorgeous cake, that is frilly and lacey and has flowers on it, and a monogram.

It's just so pretty, I had to share it!

I know a few cake bakers who would rather die than see a cake they made be seen naked. Yes, I said it, naked wedding cakes. It's a thing.

 I love the look of a rustic cake stand, and honestly, can you get more rustic than a big ole' slab of wood? Prolly not.

What I love is that both of these cakes are very different, one is tone on tone (meaning white on white) with branches intertwined around the middle layer.

And the other has big huge romantic blooms and succulents cascading down the cake.

Hand Painted Wedding Cake

I was spending hours a few minutes on Pinterest, when I stumbled upon this cake. I cannot tell you how much I love this!

The hand painted Peonies are just gorgeous and to top it off with Sugar Flowers, it's just gorgeous. I am not sure if I could actually eat it. It's just so beautiful!

And I don't know that I want to know how long those flowers took to paint on the cake.

Is it just me, or is this not gorgeous?

So, I saw this thing on Pinterest, that you can seperate an egg from it's white with a water bottle, and I thought phssh, whatever that can't work!

This cake is so elegant and fun, we love the soft delicate florals and the Chevron pattern. You could totally use this for any kind of chic and awesometastic gathering.

And the chevron pattern is HUGE right now, we prefer it on cakes rather than sweaters.

It is no suprise that we LOVE silhouettes, and cake toppers silhousettes are so romantical and fun! With a slight bit of mysterious'ness mixed in.

Love how the silhouettes take center stage on the simplistic all-white cakes.

The initials of the bride and groom completely tie together this cake and balance the flowers with a little bit of metallic edge.

Love the fleur de lis at the bottom of the cake!

Do you think the letters would look better as gold or silver instead of bronze? Of or maybe wood? I feel like this could used so may ways, and not on top is a great change up from the norm!

Ok, we're just pouting because we want one. But really two-digit ages have more cupcakes, so that's a valid reason for having our own cupcake cake right now, right?

This lace wedding cake caught the eye of our Awesometastic Team, and frankly, I think it's sweet, vintage and lacy-lious!

Can you imagine having your cake designer using the lace from your gown or your mom's wedding gown and matching it to your cake!

Cookies and Milk Cake

I was thinking about food (which frankly isn't a new thing for me) and when I was, I came across this cake on Pinterest. And really, if you'ven been on Pinterest for at least 20 seconds, it's a terrible thing for your waist line.

Which I thought was ironcal, because when Amy planned my baby shower, it was a Milk and Cookies theme, and Posh Pastry made THIS amazing cake for me. This cake was just as delicious as it looks!
