I'm always overwhelmed with bad "old fashioned" wedding decor - the shiny seat cover and organza ties, the big overly fussy cake and, of course, a bad DJ. I NEED some ideas for a fresh, chic wedding!

Throughout the years I have always been drawn to plan parties, events, and weddings. Three years ago after graduating from college my mission in life was to learn more about events and weddings so that one day down the road I could have my own business or work with a top planner. I am still learning each day through reading many wedding blogs, volunteering on the weekends for weddings, and working full time at a non profit as an event planner. This book would be a great way for me to continue my learning experience from someone as talented as Colin Cowie.

I would LOVE to have this book! I am currently an Event Management Major student and have just started to delve into the Wedding Planning business & this book would be a great start!! I have already started my own blog (foreverandalways21.blogpsot.com) and follow about 5 other wedding blogs daily but I really am at a loss as to what are some of the current trends & new ideas! This book would be an amazing way to educate myself as I am getting started so that I will be fully prepared to start my own business as a wedding planner when I graduate school!! Thanks so much for having this blog and great giveaways such as this one!

I need this book because my friend loves it so much she took it on vacation in Mexico and every picture of her had her reading this book! I would love to get all of his little hints and ways to make our wedding day special and unique and totally all about us.

Pretty sure I can't enter to win the book that I posted about... but I saw it on the shelf at Books-A-Million today and it's even prettier than I imagined. The pages are so glossy and the images are so vibrant. Whoever wins it is one lucky, lucky girl (or boy)!

Like many, I too, have started my own Event Planning Business. I love to be surrounded by creativity and beautiful things and this book would fit right in! I feel like you can never learn too much and have to always be looking for the next innovative idea to present to your clients. This would be a "one stop shop" to be able to present ideas to my clients by one of the best in the business and the beauty within the book will help inspire me daily!

I have been a hugh fan of Colin, I have a couple of his books by my bed. When I am in a slump I pull out his books and thumb thru to be inspired again. I love Colin Cowie so much I even wrote to Oprah when she had the wildest dream show, I wrote that I would clean toilets at his office to have the opportunity to be an intern, my friends laughed at me and I guess it was a bit much because I never got a call. Sooo please pick me for this book!
