Ugh it is so frustrating, watching everyone else drink and not being able to enjoy. Club soda mixed with juice, especially pomegranate makes a great non-alcoholic mixer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733682823239333938.post-66741566864228804912007-12-03T18:06:00.000-05:002007-12-03T18:06:00.000-05:00This could definitely work for a baby shower as we...This could definitely work for a baby shower as well! If the shower is right after Christmas, the ball ornaments should still be fine - they're often used in New Years parties as well.

You can also customize the glass trees/snow motif for a baby shower by simply tossing a few white, blue, or rhinestone-adorned pacifiers onto the snow. It might also be cute to decorate baby bottles with rhinestone snowflake stickers and fill them with the faux snow - and just use these as cute decorations throughout the party.

For the rhinestones - you can use baby-themed words on the trees and vases (available where scrapbooking supplies are sold) or the baby's first initial - and if you don't want to serve alcohol at the shower, try mini snowcones or cute little frozen treats!

*for great rhinestone words & shapes - look for the "Icon" series from "Me & My Big Ideas", which should be available at most scrapbooking and craft supply stores.

Good luck!hiphostesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00296908105757659550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733682823239333938.post-11376408219169674052007-12-03T16:38:00.000-05:002007-12-03T16:38:00.000-05:00i love this idea - do you think i could make a var...i love this idea - do you think i could make a variation of this work for a baby shower that i'm giving right after christmas?Pedalinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13994292348608214093noreply@blogger.com
