What a Wedding Costs

Recently, I posted a really pretty infographic stating what an average weddings costs, and it was soooooooooo off, but I told you when I posted it, basically to not believe everything you see.

But it's about time, someone finally did it right, thank you Every Last Detail!!! She researched and collected data for a whole year, and this is much gooder! This is what a wedding really costs!

What do you think about the cost of your wedding?

This is a terrific infographic! Much more in line with what I see as well, in terms of vendor investment. Thanks for posting!

The cost is all about how much one affords. Even with a small budget one can succeed and it is all about smart choices:)

My cousin got married in a beautiful city park in Sonoma (free). My stepfather married them (free). We did their photos for them (we're professionals - a gift so free). Their flowers were donated by a friend (free). Their reception was at a friend's lovely home (free). Their clothes were beautiful and used, including their rings (very little cost). They basically paid for the food and the dj. Probably got away with under $4,000. And one of the most beautiful and memorable weddings I've been to.

Of course sometimes it will cost a lot when you are about to marry someone, but whatever, after all, this is the only-one chance in life.
